Reception visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park - April 2017
Pupils in Reception had a fantastic time at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, home to some of the most amazing animals on the planet, from the only polar bears in England to majestic lions, tigers, black rhino and so much more!
After experiencing being packed into a small cage of wild animals, pupils entered Lemur Woods where they spent a long time observing the Ringtail Lemurs who were very playful and enjoyed putting on a display of wild activity jumping from branch to branch and exciting the crowd.
Children very enthused and engaged during the YWP Discovery centre session, although some were unsure of handling the giant land snail and the corn snake!
Wild animals! Wild Children! Great day out had by all. Thank you to Mr Dyson and our additional adult helpers who provided their time today voluntarily.
