Summer Fete 2017

On Saturday 24 June we held this year's Friends of Hull Collegiate School Summer Fete with around 1000 people attending throughout the day. The event was organised by FoHCS who worked extremely hard over the past few months to create another fabulous day to suit all ages. New for this year was the Big Top, Little Top Circus Show where families were entertained by circus performers. The final of the Hull Collegiates Got Talent was also held in here with a Year 7 pupil winning 1st prize along with Bently the Great Dane winning 1st prize in the dog show, Paws in the Park. The weather was once again glorious all day and the school grounds were filled with people enjoying themselves and relaxing with children playing on the bouncy castles, petting the live animals, slip n slide, face painting welly wanging, penalty shoot-out, classic cars, total wipeout and so much more.................

The Grand Prize Draw was also a highlight of the day with some fantastic prizes, please click here to see the list of winners

A massive 'Thank You' to all parents, children, teachers, volunteers and the community for supporting the Summer Fete this Year.

The Friends have funded a new mini bus, sports equipment, nursery equipment, extra-curricular club materials and author visits. They have also contributed over £14,000 towards the new sports pavilion which opened in March 2017. These additional goods and services would not have been made available without the hard work of The Friends and support of the whole school community.
