Hull Collegiate Trust
The Hull Collegiate Trust is an independent education charity (charity no. 1079653) founded in 2000. The Trust provides financial assistance to new and existing pupils of Hull Collegiate School by subsidising the cost of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Trust is committed to broadening access to Hull Collegiate School and holds the school motto ‘the best in everyone’ at its core.
The Trust provides financial assistance to new and existing pupils in the Prep School (Years 5 and 6), Senior School and Sixth Form at Hull Collegiate School whose family circumstances mean that they cannot afford the cost of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, such as educational visits, bus travel, music tuition and school uniform. In some cases the Trust can provide assistance with school fees through the Sir James Reckitt Charity.
Throughout the year we organise a range of fundraising events in school and evening events to suit everyone including:
- Connexin £10 Challenge
- Christmas Jumper Day
- Krispy Kreme Doughnut Day
- Wine Tasting
- Sponsored Walk
- World Record Attempts
- Sponsored Trees
This year, the Trust has:
- supported three pupils with their bus travel expenses
- provided music lessons for four pupils
- covered the cost of educational visits for two pupils
- contributed towards a number of items of school uniform.
Forthcoming events for the next academic year can be found on the website calendar. Parents will be notified of all events via the weekly newsletter, letter or email.
The Trust relies solely on donations to the charity from individuals and organisations. Regular giving is particularly beneficial as it provides a predictable annual income for the charity. Donations can start from as little as £3.00 per month. You can find out more on the application form here.
