Children in Need 2020

On Friday 13 November we took part in the Children in Need "Act your Age" Challenge. Pudsey Bear is 40 this year and to help celebrate his special birthday during lockdown, we were asked to set ourselves a challenge which related to how old we are.

We raised a total of £1024.24 which is amazing at any time, but especially so right now.

Special congratulations go to Evie in Pre-Sixth who raised £170 doing sit ups for 15 minutes, Eva in Year 7 who raised £120 playing board games for 11 hours, Year 7 Campbell who ran 11 miles to raise a whopping £290 and Jack in Reception who rode 5 miles on his bike and raised £85, and Mrs House raised the most in the staff division by having wet sponges thrown at her to raise £80.

We had a wide variety of challenges; baking,  reading, Greek myths, drumming, putting on and taking off t-shirts in a given time and a whole host of sports skills.

Here are some of the photos of the many activities children took part in.
