PSHCE - February 2018
Another fabulous PSHCE day for senior school pupils. Activities included Self Defence, Life Skills, Canine Partners Disability Team, LGBT, Grub on a Grant, Dealing with Stress, Government and Politics, and Emotional Abuse.
Year 7 were set a challenge by our catering manager Sue Fletcher who spoke about the components needed to create balanced daily meals for the school refectory. In small groups, pupils devised their own meals and designed a menu to present their choices. Mrs Fletcher will judge the results and choose a group per form to have their menue served in the refectory later in the term.
Here is a video of Year 9's playing Human Hungry Hippos. A bit of fun after an intense morning.
Thank you to all members of staff for making the day a huge success along with external speakers Andy Train, Invictus, Canine Partners, Lifestyle (Humberside Police), Abuse Team.
