PHSCE Day November 2019
A really productive, thought provoking and fun PSHCE Day today. Senior pupils were involved in a number of talks and activities and were fortunate to listen to some amazing speakers.

Marcus Orlovsky is a serial entrepreneur. Identifying opportunity, strategising, overcoming challenges and ultimately succeeding is in his nature, as is educating. Starting off with a grounding in finance (he is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with Touche Ross/Deloitte and later moving on to Ernst & Young), he went through Stanhope (a major real estate developer) before branching out into a start-up tech company and ultimately founding Bryanston Square, an organisation committed to enhancing life chances through education. His strap line is “Achieve More”.

Steve Hoey delivered an inspiring talk to the pupils about mindlefulness and well being.

James Rule came in to talk with pupils about his teenage self and 'Confidence and Trust'.

We also welcomed Jamie from WE Schools to educate pupils about the WE Movement, Cornerhouse and the NHS, talking to pupils about Gender Equality and Sexual Health.

Year 7 pupils finished their morning with a dodge ball game in the Sports Hall. This was an inter form competition where each form was marked on key tasks including; leadership skills, teamwork, creativity, logo design, effort, fair play, success, punctuality and cheerleading performance. It was a fun and loud end to this year's PSHCE morning!
