Remembrance Service

Our Remembrance Service this year was introduced by Year 10 pupil, Isabelle who performed Passacaglia on her harp. Pupils joined virtually from their classrooms and at home. The ceremony was led by Reverend Gemma Turner, from All Saints Church, Hessle and included readings from pupils and Headmistress, Mrs Alex Wilson.

The roll of honour was read by our Senior School Student Leadership Team. These included the 205 names in remembrance of all who attended Hull Grammar School and sadly lost their lives in WW1 and WW2.

The Last Post and Reveille were performed by Pre-Sixth pupil, Isolde accompanied by Mr Oglesby followed by a two-minute silence. Head Boy, Elijah and Head Girl, Rufaro placed the Memorial Wreaths in the foyer.

The ceremony ended with the National Anthem performed by the Year 7 String Orchestra.
